 Blog 3: My Future job

Hello everyone, in this third blog I am going to talk about my future job.

I am in my first year of university at "Universidad de Chile", studying cinema and television.

I study cinema because since I was a kid I only watched films and series, so I love all around this world. And when I discover that I could study and then work in this thing that I love so much, it was not a question about what would be my career.

So, for obvious reasons the job that I would like to have in the future is something related to filmmaking and cinema. This maybe will change in the future but for now I would like to be a director, or a director of photography.

I don't know if I can imagine it, because being a filmmaker is very diverse, meaning that you need to do a lot of things and different jobs at the same time.  And also you need to travel a lot and I don't know where I will be placed in the future.

I don't know if you need some kinds of skills, because the art is subjective and there are lots of directors that don't have previous studies in terms of filmmaking.

But al least you need a camera and something to do the editing.

I don't care so much about the money and the salary, thats why I study cinema. But if I can earn good money, better.

So, thats my future job, I only wish to have good friends and good colleagues in the cinema world to make films and create good stories and characters.
